Faro's Pizza - Grand Rapids

It's a cozy little spot with limited seating, and the decor isn’t anything special. Let’s be honest, you're probably getting your pizza to go anyway, so the ambiance isn’t a priority. What truly matters is the pizza, and it definitely does not disappoint. I opted for a simple ham topping on my pizza. The friends I was with have a small army of kids—okay, maybe not that many, but definitely a lot—and they like to keep things affordable. So, we just ordered a cheese pizza, but I managed to convince them to try one topping. I can't speak for the breadsticks or desserts, but I have a hunch they’re pretty good. I ordered a personal pepperoni pizza, which had a New York-style edge, featuring a thin crust that was cooked to a well-done state. The sauce had a smoky flavor with a touch of sweetness. The cheese was satisfactory, and the pepperoni added a nice spicy kick. However, I felt that more cheese on top would help balance out the overly crispy crust.

I had a great overall experience with my takeout order. I ordered an all-meat pizza, and everyone was very friendly.

The lasagna was super delicious! Sweet creamy Tomatoes and oozing cheese was wonderful

Faro 's Pizza 28th st !!! 33yrs at this location. Family owned!!! They have amazing Alfredo sauce now!! The Cini-minis are to die for!! It 's the best kept secret in grand rapids!! 28th st and East Paris, go try it for yourself, it 's LIFE CHANGING!! OH, THAT SAUCE!!!
