Grand Coney - Grand Rapids

They didn't seem too busy at 9:30 on a Saturday when we showed up, but there was a decent amount of snow on the ground. In the 45 minutes we were there, they have a lot of bus drivers. We were immediately greeted and sitting, the server took our orders quickly and was extremely friendly. The prices were slightly higher than Standard Coney prices, but the breakfast was MUCH better than Standard Coney fare. I'd say the food is worth the price. The crowned beef was a long shredder that you could say was fresh and tasty. Servings were great. Eggs were perfectly cooked to order. Coffee was good. Toast was above average and thick slices. I would definitely come back to breakfast when I'm in the area. Look at this place, it's great!

Fantastic food, decent prices and my server, Felipe was great. This is NOT your average Coney place. Oh, and her English muffin toast? So good, I'm on my way to buy some at the Van's Pastry Shop. Make yourself a taste and try Grand Coney TODAY!

Finsh and chips was delicious, bacon is awesome, milkshake is delicious!! And yes, while wheat toast was perfect, fantastic place. The waitress was so nice.

The chili dogs here were fantastic! The Junkyard and the Flint both have an enormous amount of toppings that only really work together. My only complaint is that the onion rings were boiled a bit (still had raw dough) and the place was clearly understated, although they had closed half the seat. The servers need more help and that would have helped with waiting in this small place. This is definitely a place I will go back and enjoy these delicious dogs.

Short trip to Grand Rapids and found this gem. Aside from the GREAT service the food is fantastic! I got the Coney Detroit style yesterday and think it might be the best Coney I've had. Today is the Spicy Redneck and think it's better than the Coney! It's really a toss up.
