Russ' - Grand Rapids

The food was alright, but pretty greasy, however the dining area has a cool feel to it.

Arrived at the drive-through at 10:55 in the morning on a Wednesday. She told me they don’t serve lunch until 11 AM and sent me away. Came back at 11 AM. Sat there for five minutes and no one answered the drive-through microphone. Drove up to the window to see if I could place an order at the window And sat there for another five minutes and no one came to the window. NOT a good way to start my day.

Food was great as well as the atmosphere. However our waitress didn't seem too interested in taking care of our needs. I felt like we were a pain in the butt to her. Not happy with her.

We went with a group of 8. They have booths with centers that can be removed to make this easier than pulling tables together. Our food was good. Russ' is known for more homestyle dinners. You can find meatloaf and reuben sandwiches. And few restaurants will offer squash and mixed rice as sides. Service was a little slow even for a larger group. About 40 minutes from ordering to being served. Drinks ran dry before food came.
