Ganders Lounge - Grand Rapids

It's an airport hotel, not much to say other than the staff is really doing the best they can with what they got.

Ganders just hosted us for my husband’s 50th birthday party. We had a group of 30 and the staff were so beyond accommodating and helpful! The restaurant is nice sized. Had an upscale feel to it. I walked in right before closing, a quarter til 1 p.m. The lady there told me I could order to go. She was still sweet for taking my order. I didn't want to bother, but she insisted. I ordered a French onion soup and a fruit cup. The soup was hot and good. The assorted fruit was in a to go bowl filled to the top! ?

It's mostly just a place for the Hotel, but non-guests are welcome, I have been twice for breakfast, things are a bit slow, mostly due to very little staff, but they are trying for sure. I have ordered off menu breakfast, and had the buffet breakfast, definitely order off menu, the quality is 10X better. They have really good Bloody Marys, coffee is what you'd expect at a hotel. Although i will add if getting the buffet breakfast, the fruit is really fresh, it's the eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes that leave a bit more to be desired.
