Taco Bell - Grand Rapids

I have been to this restaurant multiple times, but there always seems to be some issue. Today, I had to go back to get my order corrected and noticed that we weren't even offered an apology for the mistake. I think I'll be heading to the next taco bell from now on.

At 7:32 pm, the restaurant had run out of tortillas. Considering that 95% of their menu items involve tortillas, this is a sign of poor leadership and management. Running out of a key ingredient in the middle of a Sunday service shows a lack of foresight. The location is not proactive, but reactive.

I had two experiences at this restaurant. The first time, I was impressed with how quickly my food was prepared, but I realized that one of my items was missing. I went inside to inform them and waited at the front counter for fifteen minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There were two girls at the window and one on their phone, but no one made an effort to assist me, even though four employees could clearly see me waiting. The second time, we went through the drive-thru and three items from our order were missing. We paid for everything but did not receive it all, which was disappointing. Overall, the service was lacking and it was a waste of time and money.

I ordered 3 supreme tacos and they gave me regular. it happened. I asked her to correct it because I paid more for the highest. they said they needed a few minutes to make new, then they gave me 2 regular tacos. they actually have it more wrong than the first time. this taco bell is notorious in the opposite to get commanded wrong, but that's just ridiculous. check all orders they get from here.

I went inside because I wasn't sure what was on the menu since it seems to change a lot and I didn't want to tie up the drive-thru lane. The self-ordering machines weren't working, so the store manager stopped what she was doing to help me. That's customer service, y'all! I was able to get one of my tried-and-true favorites (a chili cheese burrito...so very yummy) and got the new cantina crispy chicken taco to try. It was delicious. Hopefully it will stay on the menu for a while.
