Green Island Beach - Grand Sable

Great food on a quaint road with a beautiful view. Located in the quiet side of Trou D'douce, the restaurant offers the visitors a variety of options to indulge into gastronomical delights. The Fish Rougaile is a must try item on their menu.

Lovely food and vibe. I had the chicken/prawn curry and my wife had the veggie chow-mein. Both were excellent, but the winner for sure was the double-fried chips. They are by far the best potato chips I have ever had. They also have a small bar that has an excellent IPA on tap, and at the end of the meal they gave us a complimentary glass of local vanilla rum. I will be back.

We've been 3 times; twice for drinks and last night for dinner. The menu covers a range of local dishes and pasta, all sensibly priced. Service is typically very friendly and staff were happy to answer any questions about the menu. One of us had chicken in a honey glaze which was a good sized breast fillet (no bones) and both our meals were very nicely cooked. We will go back if we get a chance.

Loved it so much the restaurant is close to Shangri La hotel, which is extremely expensive, so this restaurant was so nice to visit for such a decent price! We had the best service, delicious fresh food, kind and very helpful staff. I would 100% recommend it. The giant prawns, lamb chops and calamari were so beautiful! Thank you so much again!
