Plongee Alpha - Grande-Entree

Strange name for a nice little bistro. The food was absolutely delicious. We always prefer little menu with fresh food than elaborate ones with average ingredient. I had the clam chowder. The broth was Clea and delicate, the clams and vegetables were cooked to perfection. My wife had a tasteful sandwich. We shared the dessert of the day which was a delicious homemade brownie from dark chocolate. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Si vous allez à la pointe Est des Îles, vous devez manger dans ce petit restaurant de type bistro. Les plats sont excellents, en plus d'être très bien présentés. Nous y sommes allés à deux reprises sur l'heure du midi. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu y assister à un des fameux soupers conférence animés par Mario Cyr, propriétaire des lieux et caméraman sous-marin de renommée internationale spécialisé en zone Artique et Antarctique.

We went here for lunch. The place was packed and with good reason. I had one of the best crab spring rolls I have ever had. GF as well. My husband had a smoked mackerel salad. The coffee was excellent and they had non dairy milk. I think this was one of the few places on the islands that had crab and mackerel. I recommend this place to everyone.

We had one last quest to fulfil before leaving Les Îles de la Madeleine - Razor Clams. Despite visiting Île de la Grande Entrée, less than a week earlier we headed back (nothing's far) and it's very quiet on the 1st Friday in September(sans tourist et bikers)We ordered Caesar Salad with Smoked Mackerel & Razor clams with Au Pied de Vent cheese and the obligatory À l'abri - beer, it was delicious. It's a quaint Cafe/Dive Instructional area with wildlife posters & videos, server was friendly/efficient/bilingual - Great Place to eat - did I mention Razor Clams - oh wait they specialize in Seal(Loup Marin) too!

Par hasard nous avons choisi ce bistro. Quel bon repas avec des sandwichs au homard. Du personnel accueillant . Beau moment de notre voyage.
