One - Grande Prairie

The restaurant was extremely cold, to the point that the only staff member on duty was wearing a long winter coat. The food was disappointing, and the atmosphere felt uncomfortable, especially with the video lottery terminals placed so close to the dining areas. I was surprised by this given the advertising and the fact that it's connected to the hotel and a Denny's.

About the only thing they're missing is draft beer. Sometimes they have it and sometimes they don't. Too unpredictable.The sooner the management from Denny's is no longer involved here, the better. It should be run as a separate entity with people who know how to run a lounge. They clearly don't have the expertise or a full time manager dedicated to making this place a success.Let me also say they've gone through a lot of staff, and there's only one person still around I recognize. They're lucky to have her she's fantastic! Very personable and is always on top of things.

Food was absolutely delicious so props to the cook! Our waitress/server was very slow, was often busy talking with her boyfriend. We had to call her over to put in our food order, took a long time getting drinks and when I looked over after waiting about 10-15 minutes for our drinks, she was kissing her boyfriend.Also seemed fairly stoned the whole time. My boyfriend very kindly pointed out she had charged us for an extra drink on our bill. She immediately got rude and tried to do the math for us (which was wrong and did not even match what was on our bill). Eventually fixed it but disappointed. I would like to reiterate the food was great though!

I went here with a passport because my drivers liscense had just been renewed and got told by the rude bartender that i can’t give a passport as ID because “there is no birthdate on a passport” and had to show her that a passport does have a birthdate, and still got turned away because i “looked too young in the photo” regardless of the fact that my valid id had my 2003 birthdate on it. when i said i’d leave she brought the DENNYS MANAGER OVER FROM NEXT DOOR TO STAND THERE AND INTIMIDATE ME I GUESS?? even though i said i’d gladly leave because the girl working was already sooo rude and it was super dead despite it being a weekend.

This is a great restaurant for good quality, affordable food. Their chili lime chicken bowl is delicious, loaded with fresh veggies. The cherry on top is their bar tender Mikey! He is hilarious, super friendly, and so thoughtful. He makes an absolutely delicious cucumber cooler.
