I went to try their lemongrass chicken noodles and came away with a feeling that I had just eaten an average Bowl of this most favorite Asian dish of mine. Typically, a lemongrass Noodle Bowl will be chock-full of vegetables, lettuce, noodles and bean sprouts, but this dish had an over abundance of the rice noodles with very few vegetables. Additionally, the lemongrass chicken (though very plentiful) hardly had any lemongrass taste to it. I really wanted this to be a good place to eat as it is close to my work site.
Added this app just to write about the Pho House hoping that maybe the owners would read it. Pho isn't bad. But it's hard to mess up pho. Would be nice to add a plate of basil, chilli peppers, lime and sprouts. Like every other pho restaurant in the world. The most disappointing aspects to this establishment is the staff. It's not a child playground or a child care centre. Have kids run around nagging on servers while customers are eating is super dreadful. All the servers tend to swarm in one area and chit chat. 2nd and weirdest factor that i need to tell people that haven't eaten here. DO NOT go at lunch. There is no leadership within the servers, dirty dishes stay on tables with more customers coming in. They believe that wheeling a disputing plastic cart around to tables dumping soups in dirty water is ok. Like WTF. How disgusting is that ! Please have one of your staff on dish duty. Take the dishes of tables and bring them in the back of the house not in a cart then put off to the side and then build it up higher. Major health concern and insulting to paying customers. Anyways. Hope this info comes to use for at least a few people. Or save them lunch time disappointment.
This restaurant in Grande Prairie is the best place to eat. The service is fast and amazing, the food is authentic with a wide variety on the menu. Every time I have out-of-town visitors, this is the first place we take them, and they are always impressed. I highly recommend this place!
Service was slow. The pho noodles is a bit salty. No utensils on the table. No napkins. Dried up basil lemon and beansprout.
I don't know what kind of crack some of the other reviewers on here are smoking....This is one of the best restaurants in Grande Prairie. I take my family there regularly and all my business lunches. It is a family-run establishment and everyone there works hard and delivers great service. They are extremely polite and kind. This restaurant is very clean and I have tried many things on the menu. I have not had anything I didn't like. As for kids running around...I don't know what that was all about, but if you don't like kids, maybe you should go somewhere they don't allow children. Don't go to a family restaurant that's run by a hard-working, good-hearted family. Ignore any negative reviews and try this place for your self. You'll love it.
