State & Main - Grande Prairie

We went to the restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. The food was good and we all ordered different items from the menu. The only downside was our server. She seemed disinterested and did not attend to us properly. I had to ask for more water, which she brought, but she never checked if anyone else needed anything. The most disappointing part was when she dropped the bill on our table with a rude attitude. Despite our party being composed of four adults and a baby, we were not loud, rude, or demanding.

Went for dinner and drinks last night for a celebration dinner there were about eight of us are server Mel was fantastic we never needed anything the food was great, it was wing night so we ordered a bunch of different flavors, very interesting the...vinegar hot sauce, dill pickle hot sauce the extra hot were actually very flavorful, the salt and pepper were great as were the barbecue. I also had the lamb tacos with the jalapeño corn bread it was very good and I tried a side order of the roasted Brussel sprouts they were awesome one of my coworker said the French onion soup with half bread and said it was fantastic we also tried the tuna tartare sushi appetizer it was good and the bang bang shrimp were great. To end it off we tried their dessert a chocolate ice cream – I can’t remember the name of but it was good.

State Main is one of my favorite go-to restaurants The service is always friendly and prompt. I like the ambience. All of the food I have had is delicious! I wish they would bring back the tomatoe soup though. I know they have...it at Original Joe’s

Some friends and I went to State and Main Kitchen Bar for lunch recently, it was my first time there. The food was really good, the portions were awesome HOWEVER there were red peppers and jalapeno peppers in with the Calamari. I can't eat...red peppers so my friend took them all but I wonder why they don't state the contents of the appy... Our waitress was great, and in spite of that one little hiccup with the calamari the food was tasty and plentiful. The kitchen was slow, with only 4 tables in the place we sure didn't expect to wait a half hour for appetizers to come out. I don't care for the decor as the place is very industrial looking, but that is a minor detail. Over all, I'd go back, the Bang Bang Shrimp was incredible!

The food was good and cheap, I ordered the fish and fries. the fries where something too salty for my pallet. we were sitting at an elevated table we had a toddler) due to capacity bottlenecks. the service was good and the...pricing was fine, the plates where soft to eat due to the shape, but gave the appearance of a large proportion of meals that fell slightly from the plate when cutting the fish.
