The Office - Grande Prairie

The Office was a very pleasant surprise. We were staying at the Polmeroy Hotel on our first ever visit to GP and looking on Trip Advisor for the best resturant in Grande Prairie and we found it right in our hotel. Not only did the menu have variety of wonderfully tasting food but it was at a very reasonable price. We would definately go back and have already recommended it to others.

Just want to say that I have been to The Office 2 times this week as I am staying at the Pomeroy for business and I had the absolute pleasure of having Rachel as my waitress. She is incredibly pleasant to be around and should definitely get a Rave review.

The team at the The Office serve up an incredible breakfast experience each and every morning. In particular, Grace, Theresa, and Chef Ernard work exceptionally hard to ensure everyone is well taken care of. They are truly dedicated to their craft and connect with their clients in a fun and charming manner. My only suggestion is for more healthy options, such as fresh berries, plain greek yogurt, and egg white options.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at the office earlier this month. Our server, Demetri, was friendly and charming. He had great suggestions, helped my husband and I both get the exact meal we wanted that evening, and kept us entertained with jokes, banter, and his multilinguality. The food, as always, was incredible. My husband does not have a palette for fine dining and ordered from the menu for the lounge. His beef dip and fries was phenomenal. He could not stop raving about the horseradish. Demetri had mentioned that they had squash and when I said that one of my favourite summer meals is chicken and squash he spoke with the chef and made it happen! The sauce on the chicken was like ambrosia. I sopped up every drop, including the mushrooms which I normally am not a fan of and avoided at first, but I am so glad I decided to try them! The squash was caramelized and seasoned to perfection. Often, simple is best. We finished with a dessert that was truly a treat; a slice of cheesecake with fresh fruit, housemade brittle, and script reading Happy Anniversary in what I believe was a strawberry whipped cream. Over all it was one of the top anniversary dinners in our 13 years of marriage. Our heartfelt gratitude to Demetri and all the kitchen staff.

Dimitri was an absolute gem!! From the moment we walked in, he made us feel like royalty. We were recommended appetizers that were outstanding!! He knew what we were choosing for our main courses prior to even ordering. Dimitri surprised us with a “happy anniversary” dessert message. Quite honestly, he made our evening that much more special Thank you “the office” for having professionals such as Demitri to care for your patrons.
