Lakeside Beverages - Granite Bay

My husband found this place and was so excited to bring me to the wine tasting. But when we arrived there, the owner insulted my husband loudly because he smelled like smoke (he smoked outside), and no one gave us a service. It was discouraging, I felt like I wanted to cry. I could try to go back, and if the service improved, I will change this review, but based on everything I've read and seen, the owner seems rude and discriminatory to those customers he cares about.

Large selection of artisanal beer, wine and spirits. Nice, tidy and clean shop. Love they have a tasting room and a bar on site.

Personally, I'm horrified by the high rate of alcohol that this guy sells. It is at least 30 or 40% more expensive than Raley's directly on the road. The owner is not necessarily so polite. After one or two encounters, I will never come back to this store. Although it's right around the corner of my house. Big because of the repulsive attitude of the owner.

What an excellent shop! I am a big mezcal, scotch and whisky type and Lakeside has everything!! Very recommend this store has a wide selection and great prices. The owner Sam is also very good about wine and spirits and equally... he will take care of you and make sure you go with everything you need!

The wine selection at Lakeside Beverages will knock your socks off! They've got the best wines across the globe at unheard of prices. Before you leave with your purchase, I suggest unwinding and enjoying a tasting at the in-store wine and beer bar. Sam takes great pride in serving and delighting customers, and makes you feel like a family member from the moment you enter the store!
