Vampire Penguin Granite Bay

Place is closed. Husband went there and it's a Tea place now. No shaved snow or desserts. Even though Yelp said open until 9, he went I specifically for Halo Halo and not there.

Yummy- such a different kind of treat. I've taken a couple of dates there. It's fun to share a dessert and sit outside.

I never want to eat shaved ice from anywhere else again. The ice felt like the softest snow in my mouth--like I was eating fluffy powder. The toppings complimented it perfectly. I only wish they hadn't ran out of cheesecake bites before we got there. I shared the strawberry cheesecake with my husband and daughter to instant regret. I'll get my own next time. Too bad there isn't a location near me! I look forward to the next time.

I came here with a party of two on Saturday 07/16 around 5pm. There was no line and some guests dining in but still plenty of seating available. I ordered a Large Halo-Halo Shaved Snow. This tasted really good and I thought the mix was great. However, I would add a scoop of mango ice cream to truly portray a traditional Filipino dessert. We also got the Dulce De Leche Shaved Snow. The flavor on this was ok. The bananas etc paired nicely. Both of the Shaved Snow had a beautiful soft texture. The service was ok, communication was there however the service was a bit slow.

Absolutely love this place. I love their shaved ice. I always end up getting there Mexican candy
