Weather Vane Ice Cream - Granite City

The ice cream is very creamy, not hand-crafted. The dinner food took a bit of time to be prepared. This restaurant is for walk-ins or drive-thrus only, there are no seating options available.

I came here all my life. Your ice cream is always amazing and they have a variety of options. That means I'd give it 5 stars, but it's always staff, but younger adults. Usually I don't mind, but some of them have the worst settings. Also I get a custom concrete and every time I deal with someone new (which is almost every time), they argue with me about it even though the owner has made it for me before back with zero.

I love the ice cream at this restaurant, as does everyone in my family. However, when my husband and I recently visited, we were shocked by the prices. We ordered a medium chocolate malt and a regular Oreo Concrete with very little Oreos, as we always do, and the total came to $17.30. This is double the price we usually pay. As much as we love this place, we unfortunately will not be returning. Thank you Weathervane for everything you've done so far. We wish you the best in the future. - The Greens

I always loved this place. For years. There were no more picnic tables. But I'm sure it had something to do with Kovid so that she can still get 5 stars from me.

I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but unfortunately I paid for sour cream on my taco and received ranch instead. I also never received my medium root beer soda. I went with my three kids to the park, so we couldn't go back (the kids wanted to play). However, when I returned, the staff was very friendly and remembered me. I will have to speak to the owner about the missing items. But I must say, their tacos are a must-have!
