Short Stop Market - Grants Pass

I used to visit this restaurant several times a day because it was convenient, but I've noticed that the prices keep rising while the burritos are getting smaller and the ingredients are changing. My favorite items have been removed from the menu, and I’m not sure who owns the place now, but they’re running it into the ground. A good number of my friends have noticed that their breakfast burritos have shrunk significantly while the price remains unchanged. It seems they’ve switched from using hash browns to what I think are leftover jojo potatoes. They’re clearly cutting corners. From now on, I’ll either walk to A1 again or just order from Uber Eats instead—this is no longer worth it, except for drinks or cigarettes.

The service was friendly, the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, and they had everything I needed. Thank you!

Ashton, who works at the large Short Stop market on Bridge St, was the first person to inquire about what was on my keychain. It brought me to tears. This keychain contains some of my mom's ashes, and she travels with me everywhere. It's been 12 years since she passed. Ashton recognized and appreciated my love for her, and he was incredibly kind about it. Usually, I find myself explaining what it is without anyone asking, but this encounter felt truly special with a stranger. Thank you, Ashton. When I see you again, I promise I'll give you a hug.

I really like the changes this little market has undergone. Every employee I have encountered seems very personable. The deli also has some new options I've noticed. The teriyaki chicken and rice is really good. Just a heads up, you have to make sure to ask them for the teriyaki sauce because it's not included. I found that little fact out the hard way lol.

They have had rude af employees but overall offer more than most stores like it.
