Feedback geven20. August 2022 saw a live performance. The biggest disadvantage of this place is its distance. It is located in SW Grantsville, Utah, and is in “the sticks”. If you think you are lost, just follow the light in the distance. The road is dirty and a little rough, which leads to it, but feasible for cars. Take your time. It is not really an amphitheater or studio as much as it is a switchover, outdoor, fenced, connection of the kind. It is literally a 15’ x 20’ Wooden soup converted into a wet bar, and at the opposite end of the connection is a stage for performing artists. The privacy in the area is about 50’ by 100’ in size. It is stone and speaks “Rural”. It serves its purpose when the weather is good - what most evenings in Utah, that is the case. Most performances start at 9:30, after the western sun has settled over the mountains. Thus, the temperature quickly drops to a cool, comfortable temperature, and a protective fence around the connecting housing blocks mosses of most wind when it is windy. There is a certain attraction to be in a small place up against the mountains, and to listen to live music outdoors when this is your schtick. The sound equipment seemed solid for the venue. Kiesparkplatz are generous for the capacity of the venue. There are two Porta pots for bathrooms that were pretty clean. Alcohol is served in the shed bar, therefore the 21 and older age limit. (NOTE: You seem to be stickers with control IDs at the gate because of the alcohol on the grounds. So make sure to bring a form of ID or they will send you away. And that's not fun considering how remote this place is! There is usually a cover fee of $10 per person when there are live performances. And there is a gravel place to dance in front of the stage when you feel the urge to shake a leg or dance the live music. Some seats are available and consist of some basic terrace tables and terrace chairs. It seems that the seat might accommodate 50 to 75 people. And if you feel competitive, you might want to take the locals in a game of corn hole next to the dance floor.
One and a half miles on gravel roads, bring your own PA, invites the bands for water. Fills cup with ice then pours a little water up, same routine for a coke. $4.00 for the two drinks. I'll never be there again.
These people are ridiculous I went a photographer to shoot photos for a friend who played the amphitheater, they stopped my wife and I on the front and asked for our ID, as we knew that the place is a bar that is advertised as amphitheater. My wife didn't bring her ID that the owner was called and was completely condescending to my wife and I knew where you were coming to a bar, not we thought that we were visiting a concert in an amphitheater, we told them that we had no intention to drink, dd bracelets could have been turned away
Haven't been there for a few years... but this place is awsome
A peaceful out of the way watering hole. With Kind folks and a unique location this wont disappoint. If you want a change of scenery and old fashion hospitality pay Brazen a visit.
