Creperie Saint Sauveur - Granville

There was a lot of us, but still. Served adults before the children, quality of the food was not great, father in law had a Galette with fish, the fish was awful and over cooked, probably frozen, which is disappointing considering it’s a seaside town. Advertising things that they didn’t stock, so disappointed. Prices are also expensive, especially drinks. I guess you’re paying for the location, which isn’t even that great, just central. Service was okay, cleanliness was again okay. However there are better places, they need to try harder.

Whole our good was tasty, the service from the young waiter was disappointing. We were sat outside for maybe 25 minutes without having been acknowledged, places set or drinks order taken. When we had arrived outside we had waited to be shown to a table. After several minutes wait, more groups of customers arrived all eyeing up the remaining tables and started jumping the queue, so we sat ourselves down at an empty table outside. Seemingly this was not the 'done thing ' and as a result the waiter had been 'blanking ' us and had served customers who arrived later but had asked for a table first. When we did eventually catch the lad 's eye and asked him if it was OK that we were sat there, he did come and serve us, though it was all rather brusque.

Stopped by here almost by accident and certainly don’t regret it. Best service we’ve experienced in Granville... friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was great, stick to galettes and crepes it’s what they do best! My wife’s salad was fine but nothing special... apparently the dressing was lovely! But it is a Creperie!! I had the St Sauveur with a delicious fillet of fish, a home made tomato sauce and leeks and samphire in cream. Dessert was delicious I had the local regale, with added Chantilly creme... All washed down with two half carafes of Cidre served in a jug with mugs... perfect.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le service est simple et efficace. Les galettes sont bonnes. Nous sommes très déçus des crêpes : mal faites, elles sont pleines de trous... le caramel au beurre salé n'est pas fait maison. Dommage !
