Daan Sushi Asian Bistro - Grapevine

We had a pleasant dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the food and service were both excellent.

The sushi at this restaurant is decent, and the bibimbap is good. The location feels a bit bare, but they were able to accommodate us last minute for Valentine's Day, which we appreciated. However, the service seemed overwhelmed as it appeared that only two women were managing the entire restaurant, including hosting, serving, bartending, and taking to-go orders. The service style was more transactional, as they took our orders and delivered them to the table, but they rarely checked in on us. We would have likely ordered more from the bar if our server had been more attentive.

I had to write a review after taking this photo, it looked good! I ordered the dragon fly roll and the louisiana roll and washed them with a sapporo beer. of course! very fresh and it was warm all the time when I ate it. the inner of the place was cool (pack a long sleeve,) but unlike that, it was perfect!

Daan sushi was a pleasant surprise for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service at this restaurant. Both the cooked and raw dishes were excellent and enjoyed by everyone in our group. We were seated promptly on a weeknight, while nearby chain restaurants had long wait times. The food was delicious, even better than what we had experienced at other nearby restaurants.

By far one of the best Japanese places I was to. the atmosphere was beautiful, and the amount of food they get it much in considering pulling other places calculate the same price for the half of the amount of food, and it was all high quality. I will recommend this place to anyone who enjoys sushi or Japanese eating generally, and will be sure to visit when I am in the opposite.
