We had a bratwurst from one stall (delicious) and incredible milkshakes (containing home made peanut butter) from another. Lovely owners running both businesses, as you would expect in Gravesend, a friendly overlooked town with lots of character.
Has good events from time to time I love the vintage Fair and the military fair but not many stools on an average week
The restaurant is well-situated in a convenient location. However, the market was quite small, possibly due to our early arrival on a Sunday morning.
The Gravesend Borough market offers an incredible traditional Hungarian menu at Laszlo's Kitchen. I highly recommend trying their Hungarian traditional goulash soup, Brassoi (pork with house-made chips and speck), chicken breast fillet breaded in broth with homecooked butter potatoes with parsley. Finish your meal off with their delicious pancakes filled with cocoa, cinnamon, or sweet curly pine.
