Come Una Volta - GRAVINA IN PUGLIA

On a Sunday evening we were looking for a nice place to eat a lot of the osterias and other restaurants were closed (maybe due to the summer vacation? , so we saw this pizzeria which was advertising that you can chose which type of flower you want your pizza dough/pastry made of. The inside looked very cute, all rather new, colorful and friendly looking people plus: locals picking up pizza there : . At first we thought you can only have take away food, but there is space for about 8 9 people to sit at a counter. So we both chose a pastry type and different ingredients we wanted on our pizza even my rare wish to have the pizza without cheese was no problem. Though we don't speak Italian very well and the people there only know a little English the communication was fine and we all laughed a lot. Now the most important thing: the pizza was awesome! You could taste the different types of flour used and all ingredients were fresh. If we weren't leaving soon, we'd definitely go there again: great people great food.

La pizza carrettiera è ottima, molto buona con i friarelli. Consiglio sicuramente questa pizzeria, l'impasto è leggero e non bruciato, veramente squisita! Complimenti allo staff.
