Jimmy John's - Grayslake

I’ve had a frustrating experience with this restaurant. Each time I place an order, it takes over an hour for my food to arrive, even though I live just five minutes away. When I call to check on my order, I always get the same response: they are very busy. I’ve decided that today’s order will be my last.

Jimmy John's is consistently a fantastic spot to visit, and their sandwiches are always delicious.

I received the wrong sandwich altogether. I ordered and paid for a club sandwich but got a turkey and mustard on plain bread, without any toppings—no lettuce, nothing. For $10, this is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from this location again.

My order was 15 minutes late, and I received the wrong drink. Instead of a bottle of Sprite, I got a bottle of water. I informed the driver that I had been promised the Sprite would be back soon, but it never arrived. I then called the Grayslake store to ask for an update on my drink. They claimed they were unaware of the promise made by the driver and asked if I wanted store credit or the drink. I requested the drink, as I was traveling for work, and was assured it would be delivered shortly. However, another 15 minutes passed, and it still didn't arrive. When I called again, they insisted I had asked for store credit. I clarified that I hadn’t requested that, but they said there was nothing they could do for me except offer store credit.

We recently tried the box lunches, and here's what we ordered: **#1 The Pepe:** This sandwich was cut in half, without provolone cheese, and only had a little lettuce, no tomatoes, and light mayonnaise. It came with BBQ Jimmy Chips and a chocolate chip cookie, which were both delightful. **The Garg:** This lunch featured a combination of salami, capicola, turkey, roast beef, ham, and provolone cheese. We requested it cut in half, without lettuce and onions, with regular cucumbers. It included easy Jimmy mustard and regular sliced pickles, along with regular Jimmy Chips and an oatmeal raisin cookie. Overall, my wife and I really enjoyed our meals, although we forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend!
