We had only one cup of coffee there as we liked the location. Of course, the situation costs us 3,20 eur per person, which we also found a little too expensive for Graz-Zentrum, and the coffee was really average (although in every fairness one of the better I had in Austria in general). the place itself looks like a cooler place to go after drinks in the evening, although, maybe they give it a go, only ready to pay the tourist price.
I am here several times and like to sit outside in the beautiful sofas/sessels with a beer or coffee and watch the beat of the city. only the lower side is a bad smell of the underground channelings on the square. That upsets me every time, but I always come because of the great location and the ambient. service and quality of food/drinks is medium.
We arrived at 10 a.m. on a Sunday to breakfast we got it exactly at 11.05 a.m., that was really amazing. the two previously ordered coffees came app. 5min after order and were therefore naturally quite cold! the personal was bad too! After...50min, the head of the restaurant came out and asked us if everything was in order, we told him that we were still waiting for the breakfast, he went back and brought us the breakfast pretty fast. as an apology he served us two glasses of prosecco. eating for 7,20 the breakfast was not worth it for this price we had much better breakfast in the city! the ordered salmon was not on the teller, but they served me a speck, I asked why that, coming: we have no more laughs, we thought bacon is also good, they did not ask me before! so all in all it is a type of tourist trap with much too high trips, of course because of the location! there are much better places to spend in graz for some time in quality!
When our order was accepted after a long time, it took another felt eternality until served. our first order in the evening on the terrace: a glass of yellow muscrat, a hugo for the dame and a occupied ciabatta as small happen. we were two and the cafe started to fill gradually. to judge after bouquet, I was served merely a muscrat. the ciabatta was in order, the hugo so lala. Our second order: two glasses southern comfort, pure and without ice. the waiter served us something completely different. the waiter had a divine, "southern comfort is a long drink, who would drink it without ice." the tonfall other guests on the terrace of course have come along.Since the waiter immediately ran away again, we decided to try the southern comfort longdrink. we found that in the longdrink there was a different spirituose, and indeed, on the bill it was apparent that our "southern comfort" had been mixed with contreau and ginger ale. we regularly visit gastronomy companies and are interested in wein, spirituosen, the preparation of more elaborate meals and service qualities. our conclusion this evening: service and quality insufficient. a barman should know what he does.
