Fuel Bistro/ Coffee Shop

Insanely slow. Multiple people behind me left the line because it was taking so long (and I should have joined them). There are 4-5 employees behind the counter, but at any given time, only 1 is working. There?s a help wanted sign in the window, but theydon?t need more employees, they need the ones they have to actually work (even just a little bit).

I had high hopes for the coffee but unfortunately I did not enjoy their cafe au lait. The coffee tasted bitter with no tone to it. I 'm not a die hard coffee drinker but I enjoy good coffee. This one is just not my favorite. Not to say that it won 't fityour taste though. Had the maple chocolate banana bread and I couldn 't taste the banana. Just plain sweet and the chocolate tookover the flavor. Ambiance of the coffee shop is not bad. Maybe their food was just not my cup of tea ????.

Exploring Main Street came across this great little place. Their kitchen was closed but I got the chocolate covered strawberry latte, an off menu just invented drink and it was amazing! I got it iced since it was a warmer day but it would be just asfabulous hot as well. Definitely a must try for your next visit!

If you are looking for a great coffee shop and are fortunate to be in Great Barrington, you should definitely stop into Fuel Bistro on Main Street. They are open from 7am to 3 pm and have excellent coffees and delicious desserts!
