Lion Lamb - Great Dunmow

When we arrived, the manager was unaware of our reservation. He informed us that they had stopped serving food and hadn't had a kitchen for the past few months. This raises the question: how could I make a lunch reservation at a pub that isn't able to serve meals? The service from OpenTable was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, this place hasn’t improved at all. The food is overpriced and of poor quality. Additionally, the presence of children running around the main bar area, making excessive noise and behaving poorly, says it all. I would not recommend this establishment and won’t be returning.

We've dined at Lion and Lamb frequently, but unfortunately, the menu was quite limited this time. The wait between courses was also longer, which definitely did not meet the high standards we experienced during our previous visits.

A very pleasant evening. eating was great, good pub food well made. servicefab, the girls that served us were simply very good what they did and looked around us well. I would recommend a good pub meal. Drinks are good, they serve a decent beer on tap and a good wine.

Excellent staff, very friendly, very helpful. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, staff very attentive, slightly dissapointed in my choice of main meal as was somewhat bland (lamb chops) and fries over cooked. My partner really enjoyed the fish of the day.
