Cattlemen's Cut Steakhouse

I seized the chance to enjoy a Sunday steak here while I was waiting to deliver a local load tomorrow morning. I'm really glad I did. The Angus steaks were fantastic, the wine selection was excellent, and the atmosphere and wait staff were wonderful. I highly recommend it!

I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the tenderloin, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. They have a delicious rub available on the tables that enhances the meal even more—definitely worth adding! The baked potato was also a highlight; make sure to get it loaded with toppings. The salad bar lets you customize your salad just the way you like it. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful; I believe my server's name was Jan, or maybe Jen, but she was fantastic! They opened in late 2019, and due to COVID, I couldn't visit in 2020 or 2021. If you're passing through or live in the area, you won't want to go anywhere else!

My husband and I dined here on June 22, 2022. The wait staff were fantastic, but unfortunately, my steak was the most flavorless I’ve ever had—Denny’s serves better! The same goes for my mac and cheese; it lacked taste as well. My husband ordered the endless shrimp, which were simply boiled in unseasoned water and came with butter that had no garlic in it. It felt like quintessential “old folks’ food,” which might explain why 90% of the other diners were over 50. Overall, it was not worth the $65 we spent.

We chose this restaurant from a list of suggestions for a good meal while on vacation. We ended up choosing the unlimited boiled shrimp. We were impressed by the quality of shrimp and how it was presented. Our waitress was friendly and helpful but became busy towards the end of our meal (the restaurant was packed). Good service and clean restaurant.

Food was good. But my service sucked. I found out later the server was new, but I feel like it doesn't excuse her actions. She took our order and then came back later saying she forgot what we ordered. Even though she wrote it down in front of us. Then she cam back again asking how we wanted our steaks? Then she brought out my husband's plate 20 minutes before mine. And he was trying to wait to eat with me, but no one wants to eat a steak cold. So essentially he had dinner and then I had dinner after him. And when she brought out the food, our order was still wrong!! It was very frustrating. The food was fine. But it was not great enough for me to overlook how bad the service was.
