Cafe Rustica - Great Neck

I wanted a nice place for a special occasion with my fiance. When I walked in, the decor looked nice. During the dinner my opinion of the place changed as the service was poor and the management was rude. The food was not much better. I left an 18% tip in spite of the poor service. But after I left, management changed my credit card to over 20% and submitted it to my credit card company without my approval. I wouldn't trust them with your credit card if I were you.

We're never disappointed when we feed here. And lately we have discovered her thin crust full wheat pizza. It's much better than expected.

My husband and I have come here for at least two years and it's always a treat! Friendly service from well-known waiters await you. Amazing homemade hummus and olive oil are served with bread and crostini. We like the salmon, bruised on perfection and the chicken dishes. The steamed or gazed vegetables are always fresh and tasty. Go there, you'll really enjoy it!

Expect No culinary delight, but Cafe Rustica is a beautiful place. Service was dead, food was fine, but they ran out of their only Italian beer (which I somehow found silly) and their wine list was weak. The pizze with pesto chicken was... lots of pop and perfectly cooked... crispy, but still Gooey. She liked her pasta and she's a hard to please. We're going back.

The good was delicious, but the service was missing. The waiter needed more training, especially for a Saturday night.
