Terrible customer service by the women taking the orders overcooked steak. Her attitude alone is what made me write this review.
Mi Casa is a Colombian cuisine restaurant that recently moved to a larger space adjacent to the Great Neck LIRR station. The food is very tasty, and the service is dependable. However, I have downgraded my rating to 2 stars as the takeout portion is much smaller than the portion served dining-in. My most recent takeout order contained two flavorful empanadas (beef and chicken) and shrimp in creamy garlic sauce (served with arepa and white rice). The shrimp entree contained only about five or six medium size shrimp, which was much less than the same dish served at the establishment. For 27.95, the portion size should be consistent. When I went back and spoke to the manager (Jared), I was told that due to the cost of (aluminum) containers, the takeout portion is less. Needless to say, they have lost a customer.
Everything provided was organized and packed great nothing spilled no mess food was still hot and drinks cold.
I ordered form this place and the food was fantastic. I recommend it. Here is warning, so not order their soups. I orders a beef rib soup and it was only broth with some vegetables, a large soup with absolutely no beef rib whatsoever. According to them it's like that. Never heard of something like this before.
