Pichurros Mexican Grill - Great Wood

I visited the restaurant to pick up an order I had placed through a third-party service, only to be informed that they do not participate in that service. Despite showing proof of payment and explaining that the restaurant was 30 minutes from my home, the staff was unhelpful. I requested to speak with a manager, but they walked away. Additionally, when I asked for the name and contact information of the staff member I spoke with, my request was refused. This experience resulted in a significant waste of time and fuel, as I could have easily gone to a nearby establishment for a better experience.

So I 'm really picky about my Mexican/ Tex-Mex food since I grew up eating all of this homemade plus the plethora of good eats in Houston. Have seen this place open and always wanted to visit. Service was great and friendly. The atmosphere is bland and uninviting. And the food left much to be desired. I ordered the El Bueno plate and my wife ordered some ribs. We left mildly disappointed. They are definitely missing an oomph of sorts. I would recommend for people coming to check the people with Hispanic surnames for a more honest review of the place if you 're looking for good Tex-Mex/ Mexican establishments.

Just ordered the mojarra (fried tilapia) there was no taste at all. Not even salt, I had to add salt pepper and lemon to make it taste like something. Such a shame and you call yourself a Mexican restaurant. Not even in Mexico they would serve someone such bland food. The rice was not that great either and the fries were white. All I know is that poor fish deserves an apology cuz it died in vain.

Unbelievable service, food and prices! Thos is little pearl in the area! Love it and will definitely will be back. Best manager ever!
