I love walking in and seeing familiar faces, even though I don 't know all of them. The guy who comes in and sits in the corner for hours working, the moms with their babies who are sharing a midweek pick me up it all feels so genuine and such a great representation of what our community can grow to be.I haven 't even started talking about the coffee!! You have all your normal favorites, made to perfection by the sweetest most joyful people, and plenty of tea options for those who shy away from the coffee in coffeehouse. If you really want to branch out though, the seasonal section is my FAVORITE! Currently, lavender is the flavor of the season and it is heavenly. I am very adventurous when it comes to coffee so usually try anything new on the menu and it never disappoints. I love how they have just the right amount of options for snackage from sweet breads and muffins to savory and healthier snack trays and oatmeals. This place is just the kind of place I could (and do) spend much of my free time. The campus is beautiful if you want to sit outside and enjoy the day, but sitting inside does not feel the least bit cramped with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lawn. This place is a MUST visit!
Great place to meet even if you're not a member of the church. Big open space so you can meet with a friend without being crowded or worried about distancing. Coffee was great, service was great!
Woodsedge Community Church has a performing space with a coffee shop that has been operating since 1993. They just recently opened the coffee shop to the public from 7am-4pm Monday through Thursday. I stopped in the other day to try it out. The Woodsedge campus is quite large, but they have effective temporary signage that leads you to the coffee shop. The performance space is very spacious, inside it feels like you are outside. The offerings are pretty basic, so I went with an Americano and a ham and cheese croissant. They were both competent--the coffee was fine and gave the requisite caffeine kick. The croissant was OK, they warmed it up for me. It was an inexpensive lunch. I don't know that I would go out of my way just for the coffee shop unless they upgrade the menu, but if you're there to visit and are feeling peckish it is worthwhile.
