Christopher's At Merrivale Tea Room

First and probably last, food looks worse than it tasted but I'll let others decide on whether or not it's worth the £5.95 also had a similar drink to one in Aylsham, ginger and lemon, not as nice or tasty I left without finishing it.

Cream tea followed by Cocktails/Mocktails! Great place as always. Have to try his other place near the pier too, looks great.

We have been going here for years always friendly staff and great food. The cakes are really good. We were eating when a man started watering the plants as we were chatting to him he told us he was the owner, such a nice man you would not think that he owned it. Well worth a visit and don't forget the old fashioned arcade.

We chose this tearoom because 2 of the people dining with us were gluten free and we were impressed by the range of gluten free options on the menu. The staff were so helpful and though the queue to order was long it was worth the wait as everyone was happy with their food. We living locally so will definitely be back!

Love this place. We were served by, I think, the owner. He was really friendly and helpful, the coffee I had wasn’t very strong so he happily added another shot to it free of charge. There is an amazing selection of tasty cakes on offer.
