Bikanerwala - Greater Noida

We were in the neighborhood for some personal errands and decided to have lunch at Bikanerwal, which was conveniently located nearby. The ground floor of the establishment consists of a shop and a restaurant serving fast food and sweets, while the dining area for meals is located on the first floor. We noticed a sign on the staircase claiming to offer fine dining. The server recommended we try some starters before ordering our meal, but as small eaters and senior citizens, we have found that we can usually only handle one or the other. We decided to try the Maharaja and Chinese platters, each containing three to four varieties of snacks. Despite not being able to finish both platters, we opted not to order lunch. The starters were just average and did not live up to the fine dining claim. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with our experience at Bikanerwal.

My business group and I decided to have lunch at this restaurant. They offer a variety of vegetarian options from different cuisines. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and a great location. The food is of good quality but it is on the expensive side. Additionally, the self-service system can be time-consuming. You need to wait at the counter for your food to be delivered, as sitting down can result in delays. We handed in our coupons at the counter and sat down to chat. Unfortunately, our food took an hour to arrive and it was only after we complained that it was finally brought to our table.

Bikanerwala is a decent brand in Delhi/NCR in QSR format competing primarily with likes of Haldiram. However, this mall that utterly lacked maintenance with decrepit exteriors and dirty surroundings far from being an ideal place for foodies. So the first impressions were not that great. Inside the restaurant too, the floors were unclean with stain marks and lights inadequate. While the overall franchise and brand ensures that the downside for a lunch is protected cannot be very bad, overall experience was average. Despite a very good location, the mall and the eateries like Bikanerwala and Sagar Ratna disappointed us.

Below average taste with too much use of oil in just about everything. Making things worse, very little care of hygiene in such troubled times. For sure not visiting them again

Though the food here was similar to what you can find at other Bikanerwala restaurants, the service is not the best. Plus, the cashier will promise something, like substituting and item over the other, but when the food comes it is different and not properly communicated. Then they do not keep their word. Plus the staff at times seem to be more interested in talking to their friends who came to the restaurant rather than helping people who came here with the expectation the service is quick.
