The rice was bland, and the chilaquiles had barely any cheese or cream, with no heat at all. The only thing I enjoyed was the egg. The flavors are not what they used to be; the sauce is just canned tomatoes heated and blended, with no spiciness to it. The beans were mediocre, around 6 out of 10. This place has nothing in common with the huarache house that started out so well 20 years ago.
I usually avoid seafood, but I decided to try the shrimp ceviche tostada. Unfortunately, it tasted spoiled, and I ended up feeling quite ill afterward. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant.
The food we had today was disappointing. I went for lunch with my dad and older brother. My dad ordered the Birria Huarache, but the birria was cold, lacked flavor, and was dry, as if it had been sitting out for days. My dad and I both ordered tacos de Tinga, which were also very cold, only warmed by the tortillas. My brother had a carne asada taco, and the meat was clumped together, as if it had just been microwaved, and of course, it was cold and tasteless. My brother and I also tried the Tacos de chicharron, which were passable. What happened to this restaurant? We all agreed we won’t be returning. And by the way, the limes they served us had dark spots on the skin. It’s really not acceptable to serve spoiled limes.
The best burrito I've discovered in Omaha! I tried a steak burrito wrapped in rice and beans, and they really didn't hold back on the steak—it was incredibly delicious. I will definitely return!
I absolutely loved it! The prices, the food, and the service were all AMAZING!
