This was my first time ever going there but will not be my last time

BBQ sauce smokey , burbon sweet and savory good balanced with a touch of heat just a touch and not too thick . Beef tips good Char , not to fatty good flavor nice and tender under the char good flavor Brisket good flavor , mostly good texture some bites where a bit tough Sides Mac and cheese Good flavor good seasoning has that bakes baked crusts tender and just a lil moist and nice and cheesy Collard greens The right amount of crisp deliciously seasoned also a touch of mabe broth witch man these where good greens Fried okra Delicious seasoned the flour and the okra and they weren't soggy or slimy they where just right and nicely Salted Slaw Was definitely made 8 hours to the night before all the flavors where marinating and geting to know each other nicely, not soggy at all still a little crips and man it was good flavor and nicely balanced sweet with a touch of savory Potatoes salad This was good not to mushy had good texture mixed in with good flavor. The only mabe negative thing I have to say is that it can take awhile to get food but I mean it's BBQ so people can chill also it's worth the wait

This was our first time coming to this establishment and it will be our last. While ordering, the woman at the counter entered one of our meals as something else. We didn't say anything because we weren't sure if that was how it had to be entered or not since, again, it was our first time and we didn't know any better. When I was asked about sides, I had to look at the menu and the woman rolled her eyes at me. They were busy, so we had a half hour wait for our food, which didn't bother us until she brought our food to the table and set it down as though she was annoyed we were there. We asked for a bag as we had said our order was to-go and that's when we realized that one of our meals was wrong. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to have to wait another half hour for the correct item. Unfortunately, neither meal we ended up with tasted all that great like other reviews indicated they would. So, the next time we are craving BBQ, we will try another local establishment where our food will be correct, taste delicious, and we will be treated as customers instead of a nuisance.

Wow! One of the best barbecue places I have ever been. The pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are delicious but what really makes it perfect is that bbq sauce! So good! Will be back!
