West Winds - Green River

This restaurant is now permanently closed as of November 2022. The service was poor and it took about an hour to receive your food. Despite attempting new management, it was ultimately unsuccessful. Additionally, please note that the liquor store closes at 5pm.

I arrived at the restaurant for breakfast at 10:30 am, but the hostess and waitress refused to seat my son and me, citing that they were too busy. However, there were only three occupied tables in the restaurant at the time. I believe that this refusal was based on racism, as my son and I are white while the staff members were Mexican.

This restaurant is a great country diner that serves basic yet delicious fare. The service is prompt and friendly, and the coffee is really good. The average price per person is between $10 and $20. The meal type is breakfast and the atmosphere is rated 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their Chicken Fried Steak, as it is one of their standout dishes.
