Really nice breakfast sandwiches, including a build-it-yourself option. These sandwiches are big, so think twice about ordering 2 for yourself. I only wish they'd open at 6 AM instead of 7 AM. This is one of multiple food concepts housed within Miss Mabel's Chicken.
When I decided to order from this spot, I didn't realize there were several restaurants operating out of the location. I was really in the mood for a good breakfast sandwich so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the Roy Al with no egg for my daughter and the On the Border for myself. I also ordered an iced cold brew. Both sandwiches tasted pretty good. The On the Border had an interesting sauce on it but I couldn't pinpoint what the sauce was. While the sandwiches were good, I did run into some issues with my cold brew. I was given black coffee which is different than the picture on their site. The person at the front said I didn't order the cafe au lait and that was the reason I received black coffee. I told him that the picture online shows the cold brew differently and I didn't want black coffee. He asked his coworker to bring me a cafe au lait instead so she went to the back to do whatever to the coffee. Cafe au lait wasn't even an option on Sunrise Sammies menu so I was confused. I think this place has potential to be good but there's way too much happening at this location. Too many restaurants and menus to focus on one restaurant. I don't think I would return to try any of the other restaurants at this spot.
This was my first time here! My Longhorn sandwich was delicious, and the service was excellent. Ooh, and The lemonade was tasty too! Not too sweet or bitter. FYI.. it’s across the parking lot of the DD.
Food is very good, some might not like how long it takes after ordering but I found it worth the wait. A good place when hanging out with friends
