Red Rooster - Greenbush

When I'm tired of cooking, I opt for Red Rooster. My favorite dish is the veggie pizza with a parmesan butter crust, paired with a Greek salad. On Fridays, I enjoy a nice fish dinner and their delicious clam chowder. For breakfast, I love the Popeye omelette with a cup of coffee. And I can’t resist their Pfannkuchen for a midday snack.

The breakfast was generous, with large portions and excellent quality.

I stopped by for lunch and it wasn't very busy. Our server, Karen, was fantastic and got our drinks to us right away. However, we ended up waiting almost an hour and twenty minutes for our food. When the dishes finally arrived, they came out in pieces, and some of our group waited even longer! Karen did her best to hurry the kitchen, and I felt sorry for her because other tables were also experiencing long waits. I would have expected better staffing in the kitchen during a holiday week. Overall, I was disappointed and likely won't be returning; the food was just average.
