My family, a group of eight, dined there for our Christmas Eve dinner in 2013, and the buffet was absolutely delicious! I actually enjoyed it more during this visit than I had in previous ones. In 2012 or 2013, the owner's daughter and her four-month-old grandchild tragically lost their lives in a car accident at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center on 11-E. During that difficult transition to new owners or operators, the quality of the food declined. However, I believe it has improved significantly and is better than ever now.
This restaurant used to be fantastic, and I would dine there at least once a week. However, it seems that they have recently changed their buffet, and possibly the management as well. When my sister, nephew, and I visited, it was a disappointing experience.
I took my family to this restaurant, and they handed me a handwritten ticket with the price on it. I paid the amount the cashier had mentioned, and as we were heading to the car to leave, they came outside asking for more money. I paid again and left, as it was clear to me that this was a scam.
The floor was unacceptably sticky, and I actually damaged my shoes because they were stuck to it. I nearly slipped multiple times and had to hold onto the wall just to keep my balance. I spent $105, but I won't be returning.
