Kip Chippy - Greenock

1st never never liked it. Now gave 2nd chance. Disgusting . Chips being double cooked and can feel grease lining in mouth. Definitely don't clean oil regularly. Won't be back not a good chippy at all. Had hamburger supper. None of the batter is crispy either. Tip. Change oil daily and don't double cook chips. Rotten

Food was very good,good fish Only criticism would be that stainless steel utensils would be a better option than using fingers to serve the fish up. A standard food hygiene requirement surely. But other than that, it's a good chippy Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Went in and there was a bit of a queue so had to wait but I'm glad there was because while I was waiting I watched them lift the food from the warmer using their hands instead of tongs after the girl fixed her hair multiple times and the boy wiped his hands on his t shirt while also handling money. Won't be back unless the food hygiene improves. Maybe the staff needs better training?

You know that raw potato taste when chips aren't cooked? Yeah, that's what I had here. Come on... ALL the big chips weren't cooked properly! And there's a rank fishy taste on them. I'm only in the area occasionally for work. I'll get a sandwich from Sainsburys next time. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Just received a box of slop from this chippy. Usually we go to Gourock for our tea but decided to order from somewhere different. When opened the box half the fish was stuck to the lid. It was soggy to the point of disgusting and the stuff stuck to the lid our dog got. This is a photo of the remainder which was then binned. What's going on guys? Poor poor meal Meal type: Dinner
