Cold Stone Creamery - Greensboro

We ordered milkshakes, and they were absolutely delicious. However, it was a Saturday night at 9:30 PM, and according to their posted hours, they don't close until 11 PM. Unfortunately, they had already turned off the ice cream machine, were out of whipped cream, and the coolers for their ice cream pints and quarts were nearly empty. While the staff was very friendly, they really need to ensure that all essential ingredients are available until closing time.

This location is by far the worst in the city! Their ice cream is consistently freezer-burned. When I called to address the issue, the person claiming to be the manager told me to bring the melted ice cream back so she could "examine" it. Seriously? Examine it? I can hardly believe someone with such a ridiculous suggestion could hold a management position. I think her name was Seedra, and she seemed like she might be the store manager’s daughter, which could explain why my previous complaints went unacknowledged. She was rude and completely unprofessional. Not once did she offer a refund or a replacement for the terrible ice cream we received. Instead, I had to go to another location, where they graciously provided a replacement at no charge. Seedra really needs some serious improvement! Additionally, I noticed that she doesn’t wash her hands between handling payments and preparing orders. I won’t be coming back!

The restaurant should consider hiring staff with more flexible schedules. When I arrived at 2:30 PM, the person at the register informed me that she would be closing for 30 minutes. Although she continued to take orders from other customers, she told me I couldn't enter. It's puzzling to have someone on staff who isn’t available and can turn away customers at their discretion.

The staff were unfriendly and seemed to lack motivation, hardly managing to greet customers. In the back, someone—likely a coworker—was having a loud and inappropriate phone conversation while a child sat nearby. It was very unprofessional.

I spent $52.31 on a birthday ice cream cake that was poorly decorated. We were late picking it up, and upon our arrival, the manager informed us that they were busy and had just finished decorating our cake. He mentioned it would take another 15 to 20 minutes before it would be ready for pick-up, even though the store was empty. I am very disappointed with Cold Stone Creamery for the lack of attention to detail in the cake's decoration. Looking back, I realize I could have gone to a grocery store, bought an ice cream cake for $20, and saved quite a bit of money. I wouldn't recommend this location, as the manager seems indifferent to maintaining quality.
