Lil Chef Savory Chicken Seafood

My daughter and I were visiting town and searching for a local Black-owned restaurant. I have to say, this lovely establishment did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I even went back inside to grab a meal for my husband. Just a quick note: this is a take-out only place, but don’t let that deter you! If you're not from the area, just enjoy your meal in your car! Great job, ladies!

The only reason I didn't give them a five-star rating is that they didn't have any chocolate cake. I had seen a picture of it and was excited to try it, but I wasn't let down overall. Here’s what I ordered, and I will definitely be going back!

This is my second time ordering food from this restaurant, and I must say, it has a lovely interior and a friendly staff. The fried shrimp and chicken wings are exceptional. Today, I ordered two whiting meals with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The fish was fried to a perfect golden brown and tasted great. The mac and cheese was decent, but I think the noodles were slightly overcooked; however, the added smoked gouda brought a wonderful flavor. The greens were a bit of a letdown, as they seemed to be canned. On a positive note, the hush puppies were delicious. Overall, it’s a nice place, and I plan to return to support them. I’m definitely going for the shrimp and chicken next time! Keep up the good work!

I finally discovered an excellent seafood restaurant in Greensboro! The fish is perfectly seasoned, and the portion sizes are fantastic for the price. Plus, there's plenty of parking available.
