Ozzie's Ice-cream Shop - Greensboro

Ollie's offers a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere with a welcoming staff. The prices and menu selection are quite satisfying, with a great variety of floats, Sunday options, and numerous ice cream flavors available. Although we visited during a busy time and there was a line, the employees handled it efficiently and moved everyone along quickly. The only addition that could make Ollie's truly exceptional would be the addition of "Superman" ice cream (or rainbow vanilla, which has been a childhood favorite of mine). I joked about this with one of the staff, and it seems the owner has a peculiar dislike for that flavor. I'm not sure how true that is, but I got a good laugh out of the conversation, especially since I'd argue it’s far superior to any other flavor!

Despite the line to order, it moved swiftly thanks to the ample staff available on a Sunday evening. I appreciated the two non-dairy options available, particularly the lemon raspberry sorbet, which I found delightful. The prices are quite reasonable, with four cones priced at just $13. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, along with various activities to enjoy while you eat. Outside, there are bubble wands, and every table indoors is equipped with a wooden game board. I'm excited to return soon!

If you enjoy fruit-flavored ice creams, I recommend sticking to the ones labeled as sorbet since those best highlight the fruity flavors. On the other hand, their classic ice creams are absolutely delicious. I can’t get enough of the Cappuccino Crunch—the crunchy bits are phenomenal! The staff is very friendly; they seem like they might be the owner’s kids, but they all greeted us with smiles and positive energy.

First timers! they were so nice it was our first time so I had many questions n wanted many samples the ice cream isn’t overly sweet so that was a plus. Nice patio area n inside seating as well

Incredible selection of flavors the nicest owners! If the line is long, stick around because it goes quickly and it’s so worth just a few minute wait. Spacious outdoor area too! Always a pleasure!
