Speedy Cafe - Greensburg

When I am going into a day off when I leave work, I always end up finding myself just driving around aimlessly. Totally aimlessly and then you end up in a familiar place. I had been taking different roads this night and found myself in nearby Youngwood. After I left a nearby establishment, I realized I forgot to get something to drink. I pulled in here and it felt familiar. That is because I have been on this plot of land a very long time ago. Well before this lot of land was a Speedway, it was a King's Family Restaurant. It is just an odd location for a business. It is about the midway point between two areas flush with businesses. But nothing else is around it that is worth mentioning. It is a bit odd inside. The setup throws you for one. It is a basic rectangular building, but it feels like it slants on the inside. Everything is done at a slant. Even the registers. I will say this about Speedway. Out of all the gas station convenience stores out there, they seem to have the most vast selection of drinks. I appreciate this as I am a bit picky when it comes to my choice of drink and get a bit flabbergasted when I cannot find what I want. For a late night stop, it is not a bad place to do so. It seems to be frequented by truckers a lot just so you know.

It's not my first choice I don't think they have the variety of a Get-go or Sheetz but they do have some good deals mostly the fountain drinks I needed gas so it worked out the gas prices are competitive

I tried the chicken bacon ranch wrap, it's grilled. I must say other gas stations should be worried, this wrap was still hot by the time I got home, price was right for someone on a budget. the wrap was very tasty, I recommend them , however they should broaden their menu, don't be discouraged though they do have quite a menu choice. I tried them for the first time and I will be going back.

I 'm writing this review while I 'm waiting going on 15 minutes for my sub. It 's not particularly busy, but it 's frustrating that there is only one person working in the food area. Don 't get me wrong, there are some great deals to be had here. Love the 69 cent fountain drinks and $4 footlongs! I like Speedway, but this particular location leaves me feeling Meh. on most days.

I always feel great stopping here. There's a really nice girl who works here with great color hair, she just got it colored a reddish color it looks beautiful. She's really sweet and has a nice personality. She is great friends with my home health aide too.
