Cajun Shotgun House And Bbq

On our way back home from vacation, we decided to check out Shotgun House, as we were in search of some good barbecue. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. Qyahna, our waitress, was a delight—she kept us entertained with her laughter and made our dining experience truly enjoyable! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lively and fun. We tried a variety of dishes, from shrimp to ribs, and the hush puppies were absolutely out of this world! We capped off the meal with some Elvis cake, which was the perfect ending to a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place!

Small, local, friendly, and delicious! This spot is a MUST for lunch! My friend and I visited New Orleans and were on the hunt for a great barbecue place, so I searched online and stumbled upon this gem. It was a bit off the beaten path, but the reviews convinced me it was worth it. I’m so glad we stopped by—this place was incredible! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, truly a local hangout. We tried a cup of gumbo and the Shotgun Nachos, and let me tell you, both were fantastic! The gumbo was superb, and the nachos were out of this world! Each ingredient was perfectly balanced. I highly recommend stopping by!

It's a lovely little restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere! I visited because it was recommended by the original owner. I highly recommend dining here, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Large huge pulled pork sandwich with homemade boil and barbecue sauce on a monster homemade bungalow with fresh hot frits. And a big shooter. Yum yum.

Got the ribs and they are awesome. Skip the sauce, you won't need it. The meat is falling off the bone good with a taste that'll make you go back for seconds before you know it.
