They are located across from Greenville Tech on S. Pleasantburg. My daughter was the first one to bring food home from here and we said we will never go to another Chinese restaurant again. We are originally from California and there are handfuls of Chinese restaurants in every city there. We have been out here for about 6.5 years and have tried many places but this spot is it. Everything that they make is fresh to order and each time we go we always try something new and we have not been disappointed. We love the service that we get here and they always say thank you when we leave. Next time you want authentic Chinese food and you are in the area, stop in and order your favorite dish.
Don't let the looks fool you. This place hands down is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Greenville. Amazing food and large portions. I've been coming here for years and so glad they are right around the corner.
I have eaten at Chinese restaurants in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and Boston. I love Chinese food and am a fair hand at cooking it, but whoever is cooking at Chang An is a 5 Star genius. Cantonese, Hunan, Szchuan, northern noodles, all outstanding. Do not be put off by the storefront and Covid plexi barricades, great food is just the other side of the wall.
Food was hot, fresh and fast. It had just the right amount of sauce and cooked just right. It was tender and not dry and chewy like some other places.I ordered the General Tso combination platter. Definitely will be going back. So good I forgot to take photos.
The food was hot, fresh and fast. It had the right amount of sauce and cooked exactly right. It was tender and not dry and chew like some other places. I ordered the General Tso combination plate. In any case, it'll go again. I forgot to take pictures.
