We could have gone to a steakhouse paying this much. I was charged an additional $2.89 for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Normally it's $1 more. I totally understand inflation and prices do go up. But to go up around $7 more per plate is a bit extreme. I even checked an old order on the app, where the same two plates were $22.20 a year ago. I'm saddened mostly bc I really can't afford to eat here as much as I would like to. Updated again, after your response.. I rated a 5 for food, 5 for service (which honestly it takes a minimum of 20min in the drive thru), and 5 for atmosphere. But overall a 3 and that's because of the price increase. I can literally look at previous orders that I placed through your app for pickup. I have been coming here for years, since before it was changed to Kendall's. Back when it was Bikas. So please don't speak to me like I'm stupid. I'm sorry you disliked my review, but I honestly thought I was very nice and fair with my review. Your food is wonderful. I love it. My family loves it. I come here for a specific item so no, I don't want to order off your specials. I'm not saying that everything is expensive or unaffordable. What I am pointing out is that the same exact two plates (down to the sides) I ordered a year ago have increased give or take by $15 or so. I can look at my old orders, and I've never been charged $2.89 to upgrade the fries. I understand completely about price increases, as stated before, but there's a fine line between inflation and price gouging. Also, I have worked for many places that are reviewed on Google, and NO business replies in such a way.
Love, love, love this place. Everything that I have ordered has been delicious. If you love a good salad then make sure you try their salads. They also have daily specials which you can't beat and the service is phenomenal.
Very nostalgic interior design, as it was an old Dairy Queen, but I love what they have done with the place. Their menu offers a range of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and hot dogs, and they all sound delicious. For this visit, I chose the premium Clemson burger plate, as it comes with fries, or slaw, and a drink. It was a really good, juicy burger made fresh and served hot off the grill. Personnel, I could have used a bit more of the garlic aioli. The fries were equally as good and served in a mini fry basket. I look forward to returning to try one of their hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, or salads.
Quick drive thru for a non-fast-food restaurant! Delicious Carolina Gold Rush plate and SO many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Everything is excellent! Just the portions of ice cream could be bigger like everywhere else. Too much money for a plain ball of ice cream. Two of theirs is like one everywhere else.
