Lu-bob's - Greenville

If you're looking for down home classic country this is the place! It is an institution! Had breakfast and the fries, the eggs, the sausage, even the bagel were great. Prices were a LOT higher than I expected, and of course the environment is about as far from updated, clean, or modern as one could imagine. But I suppose that's why they have survived so long and is part of the charm.

Food was made to order. Fresh and hot. The staff so friendly and helpful.

Great food friendly service only problem was the lemon pie but that was fixed.

Anyone and everyone should come here at least once love this place

My group was just passing through town and decided to stop here. This is a classic hometown cafe. A homey little place lit by a neon sign that brings back memories of a time where every little town had a place like this. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent- certainly homemade. The pies are fantastic. We all had the chicken and noodles. I had a slice of coconut cream pie. Without a doubt the best restaurant in Greenville, IL
