Feedback gevenThis place is great. I walked in to just get some prices for chicken and hamburger to grill on the weekend and was surprised they had a bar. So I decided to give them a try. Came here x2 to try a few things. Had the smoked baby back ribs, kinda on the dry side, but the flavor was tasty. Also had the smoked jumbo wings, they were really good, but I wouldn’t call them jumbo. The spicy bbq sauce is really really good, and you should get an extra side of it with your food. They also have wine flights. You can try a white Pinot noir, something I never had before. For dessert, I had the apple pie pudding, this also was really really good, I’m not a big dessert fan but this was worth it. Overall this place is definitely worth trying!
Always friendly, great food to eat but limited menu. Follow them for specials. Bar is nice with great wines and beers.
I love the NY Butcher Shoppe. It’s close to home and has a great wine bar. I love the crab cakes and blue cheese coke slaw. I went over to get a prepared meal at the meat counter. The internet was out which I know is frustrating. I had a gift card and wasn’t able to use it. I asked if he would like to write the card number down to run later and he yelled at me. I can assure you that I’m not trying to steal. It’s not my fault that the internet was out.
Very friendly staff. Asked for two ribeyes cut 1/2 to 3/4 thick (breakfast steak cut). The young man cutting must not know measurements. End up at least an inch thick. Should have showed me before wrapping. Also bought a veal parmesan. The meat inside could not have been veal. NO flavor. Dumped whole thing in trash.First and last visit.
I purchased a 2 1/2 pound prime beef tenderloin for my husband’s 70th birthday dinner party. After I recovered from sticker shock, I knew it was the best cut of meat so went for it. After baking and serving it to my guests I receiving rave reviews (of course it was the meat). Most agreed it was better than anything that they had ever had at a top steak restaurant.It was not only delicious but so tender you could cut it with a butter knife.Thank you New York Butcher Shoppe, once again I was not disappointed.
