Always on point, friendly and the food is delicious!!

My meal was delicious. I had turnip greens, rice with gravy, sautéed squash, and cornbread. The iced tea was the disappointment. It was too weakly brewed, and they don’t have fresh lemons. Just bottles of lemon juice.

A must eat for anyone visiting Greenville. It's been a staple on Laurens Rd for 50+ years. Think about that. How good does a restaurant have to be to remain open for half a century? The meat and three for lunch can't be beat (try the open faced turkey sandwich with black eyed peas). The burgers and dogs are top notch (corn dogs and chix dogs are too). And the sweet tea is <chef's kiss

I’ve been to this place a couple of times now for dinner and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve gotten something different every time and it’s always good. If you want a fast home cooked meal, this is the place. I also appreciate the friendly service as well.

Good basic southern cooking. One of my favorite places to go for lunch. Their sides make for a great vegetarian plate.
