Puerto Vallarta Mexican - Greenville

Large restaurant, great for large parties. Service was spot on although it wasn't extremely busy. They start you with a basket of fresh chips and a creamy bean dip. They have a salsa bar so you can choose your level of heat. The food came out hot. I had their chili poblano lunch special. I love the milder flavor of these peppers along with the melted cheese inside. The do put a breading and fry them but it leaves the breading mushy. If they could change that breading or air fry it or plunge it quickly in a deep fryer, to crisp it up, it would be awesome. My dish was served with refried beans and rice. The hubby had the lunch Texas fajitas that came with tortillas, beans and rice and toppings of guac, pico , etc. He liked the meal and it was a lot for a lunch portion. He didn't finish the beans or rice. Prices are in line with other Mexican restaurants, actually you get more on their lunch options than other places. Wish they were closer but a good option when we are o in that area.

It's open late for Cherrydale. Food is same as any local Mexican joint. Service isn't good or bad. Just average

I absolutely love the quesadilla grande with carnitas! The staff here is fantastic as well.

The food was excellent—hot and served quickly. However, our server seemed distracted and more interested in watching YouTube videos while leaning against the bar. I had to find him several times just to get a take-home container and drinks. He didn't check in with our table at all to see if we needed anything else. The restaurant wasn't very busy for a Thursday afternoon. While the food was wonderful, the customer service left much to be desired.
