Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack - Greenville

We?ve had lunch at Rocky?s twice recently and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. Limited gluten free options but the rotisserie chicken is excellent! We enjoy sitting outside on their covered porch. Will definitely be back.

I had this catered at work and convinced the husband to go with me in person? still just as good if not better! It?s a lot of food, and all of it was delicious. It came out piping hot temperature wise, and my mild spice level was exactly right. The Mac and cheese was gooey and the fried okra had the right crunch. Such a nice atmosphere of people eating good southern food.

I?ve been here once before and it did not disappoint the second time. I spent $23 with tip for a chicken pot pie and a beer. My buddy ordered the spicy chicken dip for an app. Normally I eat a good amount and after that app and chicken pot pie I was stuffed. Spend a few extra dollars and get a chicken plate. Spice it how you like it and enjoy. Coming back soon!

Today was our first visit, but definitely not the last. There was a little bit of a line when we arrived, but it went pretty quickly. Our party ordered chicken tenders, rotisserie chicken and wings. Our sides included mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole and fries. Every single thing was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The wait time was to be expected for a busy Friday night. The place was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. Convenient location, too. Close to downtown but without all the traffic. Definitely must give it a try!

Love this place! Definitely a must visit when in Greenville. I love spice and have a high tolerance but man is the Rocky's Hot flavor HOT! Definitely not for the faint. Try something in the lower tier of flavor and gradually go up. Meats are juicy and flavorful. Portions are big as well!
